Choose Your Fact-Checking Approach
To give you the most reliable results, we offer two different AI models. Each has unique strengths, so you can choose the best tool for your needs.
OpenAI Model
BEST FOR: A comprehensive analysis of both “historical and current events”. This model has more recent knowledge and is our recommended choice for checking claims about things that have happened in present day (2025) and earlier.
Claude (Anthropic) Model
VERY GOOD FOR: In-depth fact-checking of events from 2024 and earlier. Its analysis is excellent, but its knowledge has a cutoff point, so it is less reliable for very recent claims.
A Note on Sources & Transparency
Both AIs provide detailed explanations for their verdicts. You will notice that they do not always provide clickable source links. This is a known limitation, not a flaw in the analysis.
Here is Why
- The AIs are trained on vast amounts of data and generate their summaries from this knowledge.
- Providing a functional, direct link to the *exact* source for every piece of information is technically challenging and sometimes results in broken links.
- Our priority is accurate analysis over perfect citations.** We instruct the AIs to be truthful and to only reference information they are confident about. When links are provided, they are a bonus.
We believe in transparency, so you can make a fully informed decision about the information you receive.
Why I Built This Tool
I created Go Verifiable to combat the misinformation that fuels division and distrust among friends and family. This isn’t about “mainstream media vs. independent voices.” It’s a neutral cross-check system.
As an independent individual, I use unbiased AI to provide factual, vetted information from diverse sources. We don’t tell you what to think—we give you the tools to decide for yourself.
